New Avatar of Naukri.com Launched

This weekend we launched the much awaited New Avatar of Naukri.com. The idea behind this project was to improve the user experience, look and feel, Information Architecture/ Navigation and raise the quality bar among all competitors.

In terms of user experience we added a lot to the site with the use of Web 2.0 concepts, advanced CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Page Structure etc.

Wait......... it was not only a front end change but at back end we did a lot of stuff.
We shifted to latest technologies (PHP5.x.x, MYSQL-5.x.x), applied advanced concepts of Load balancing, High availability etc. The code is much more organized now.
